This policy explains what information yarncalculators.com (“we”, “us”) collects and how it’s used.
Calculator inputs
The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our server. We save your unit choice (inches or centimeters) in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it next time.
Feedback
If you use the “Was this answer right?” box, we store your vote, the calculator name and any note you write. We don’t ask for your name or email there. Please don’t include personal information in the note.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, and your device and browser type, using cookies. We don’t use it to identify you personally.
Fonts and hosting
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and maintenance.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices and contact
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. For privacy questions, email hello@yarncalculators.com.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
